Bengals reinstate WR Henry

11/05/2007 - Cincinnati, OH (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Cincinnati Bengals reinstated suspended wide receiver Chris Henry on Monday.

Henry had been suspended by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for the first eight games of the 2007 regular season back in April, for a host of off-field run-ins with law enforcement and additional violations of league policy.

After a review of Henry's actions during the suspension, he was cleared by the league to resume practicing with the team in late October. Henry will be eligible to return to action this Sunday when the Bengals face the Ravens in Baltimore.

Henry, the third-round pick of the Bengals in 2005 out of West Virginia, has 67 receptions for 1,027 yards and 15 touchdowns in 27 games over two seasons. He was also suspended two games last season for violating the NFL's personal conduct and substance abuse policies.

To make room on the roster, the Bengals waived wide receiver Skyler Green. Green, a second-year player out of LSU, caught four balls for 40 yards in seven games this season. He was inactive for Sunday's loss to Buffalo.
